Best Online Job Opportunities for Women

Best Online Job Opportunities for Women

When it comes to working from home, the general consensus is that online job opportunities require you to have some kind of specific skill set. While for some jobs, that is true, there are opportunities for women that you can learn on the go, and you can definitely be good at them.

With that in mind, what are some great online job opportunities for women? There are things like working on webcam sites, but not everyone is comfortable with that regardless of how profitable it is, so let’s check out some alternatives.

Do Makeup Tutorials

Are you good at doing your makeup? Have you mastered some of those advanced looks that many women struggle with? Why not try and teach them? You’d be surprised at how many women there are who want to learn how to do their makeup, everything from the simplest of looks, to diva-like complex makeup.

A thing you might find difficult is to put your face in front of the camera. Don’t worry, it’s difficult for a lot of people when starting out, but as you progress and start to do more and more tutorials, you’ll find that it comes almost naturally, and you’ll be able to relax and have fun.

The first thing you should start with is simple looks. Well, they might seem simple to you, but some women struggle even with those, which makes them a perfect starting point. Then, you can move on to some more complex and time-consuming work, but a good idea would be to hold off on that until you build an audience. That way, your viewers will know you’re good at makeup and will trust you when it comes to more complex looks.

Once you’ve made a name for yourself, you’ll find that brands are looking for collaborations, and many of them will even go as far as to offer you their products to use during your tutorials. Add to this the money you’ll be making from the videos themselves, and you’ve got yourself a winner.

Work as a Virtual Assistant

Yes, it’s true that some consider this to be a low-paying and sometimes boring job, but if you land the right client and have the time to dedicate yourself to the job, it can be incredibly fun and you’ll get to learn quite a lot.

Working as a virtual assistant will have you working with one or more clients, and you’ll be in charge of things like managing their schedule, setting up their appointments and making reservations when necessary, as well as organizing your clients’ travel needs. It might sound like it’s complicated, but once you learn your clients’ preferences and what they enjoy, it’s a lot of fun.

Now, the goal here is to get to a high enough hourly pay that makes it worth your while. If you find that your first client is paying you a reasonable amount but only gives you two to three hours of work per day, find two more such clients. You’ll have six to eight hours of work per day, but the hourly pay will make the income very much worth it.

And here’s a thing to remember. Even though it might seem like it’s difficult when you’re starting out, working as a virtual assistant will help you develop important skills that might come in handy down the line in various industries. Don’t underestimate that.

Start a Blog

Our last suggestion is one you might’ve considered, but hesitated because you weren’t sure what the recipe for success is. But starting a blog can not only make you a lot of money, but it can also help you make a name for yourself in an industry you’re knowledgeable about, which is a seriously underestimated thing.

When you’re starting out, you need to remember that persistence and patience are key. Find an industry you know things about, and are passionate about, and try to orient your blog towards that. It will help you build your audience and it will help you keep going when you feel like you should give up.

One more thing to keep in mind is that, at first, you might not have too many people coming to read your blog. You want to put yourself out there, whether it’s by social media advertising or Google Ads, but those are two things that will help you market your blog.

Once you’ve got a healthy number of readers that are constantly reading through your blog, you can think about monetization. There are plenty of ways to do it, and each of them can actually bring you quite a lot of money if you do things right. Before you know it, your blog will be a go-to for anyone looking to educate themselves in the industry you’re following, and you’ll be a household name in that same industry.
