The Motherload is a website, and a growing community of nearly 25,000 members – referred to as ‘MOLOs’ – and through a commitment of support, no judgement but candid honesty about our experiences of motherhood on both our group and through our blog website. We have a network of over 90 writers and contributors to the site, and work with a number of brands to bring great, relevant, branded content to our members. The Motherload In The Press


#FindDan was a viral sensation! After Lorna Hayward shared her witty post on The Motherload Facebook Group, it received 2,500 likes, hundreds of comments, and one poor unsuspecting estate agent became an overnight sensation. Press was coordinated by The Motherload HQ Team, with print, digital and radio coverage, and international outlets picking up the story in both Australia and New Zealand.

#BeMoreMOLO: Calling Utrecht MOLOs

#BeMoreMOLO: Are there any MOLOs in Utrecht? showed the true power of The Motherload members when they unite to help each other. After Claire wrote a post as ‘a long shot’, asking if there were any MOLOs local to her friend who was stuck in a Utrecht hospital, we were amazed to not only find Catherine, but to receive a message just a couple of hours later with her friend’s favourite snacks to keep her going while she was recuperating. From this, our campaign, #BeMoreMOLO, was born, and you can find more lovely stories in our features section here.
