Why Amazon?

Simply, the most recommendations are made via Amazon links on the group so we know it’s probably the most easily accessed page for MOLOs. Amazon have also made it super easy for us to bring all your recommendations into one place, with a clear layout that makes it easy for you to see products at a glance and purchase them quickly. Let’s face it, if we can save time ANYWHERE, that’s a good thing, right?

What does Affiliate mean?

Simply, we have been invited by Amazon (or other affiliate programmes) to recommend items and products to you, and they then pay us for the time it’s taken to collate our choices and their products/ services.

How do I know if a link on The Motherload® is an affiliate link?

We will ALWAYS be transparent about any affiliate activity we undertake. We want to make sure that you are aware of how you support The Motherload®, and are 100% comfortable with any affiliate programme we are a part of. Why do websites sign up to Affiliate programmes?

Affiliate programmes are an easy way for us to advertise products and generate revenue from our content in order to fund our website. Our website costs cover updates, hosting, web domains, images, time it takes to produce content. We also use the funding to help us run The Motherload® communities. It also means that we can avoid overloading the website with tonnes of adverts – we know how annoying that can be!
