Some of the most popular posts in our community start with, ‘Molos, can you recommend…’. After all, who is best placed to give helpful product recommendations and honest reviews of things that might make our lives a little easier, than a fellow mum?
But it can still feel overwhelming!
Trawling through endless posts for ideas can be time-consuming and then lose your place and argh! Finding that perfect recommendation can leave you suddenly losing the will to live.
So that’s why I’ve done the hard work for you! I’ve trawled many, many threads to find the best of the best directly from the MOLOs. Whether you are looking for tips on getting started with weaning, or want present ideas for an upcoming birthday – or maybe you fancy a new book and need some inspiration? It’s all on this list.. and more.
By purchasing through our Amazon page, you are supporting the work of The Motherload® for MOLOs
What’s even better is that by purchasing through The Motherload® Recommends… Amazon Page, you are also supporting The Motherload®! Amazon pays us a small percentage for collating and recommending products. We receive between 3 and 7% (dependent on the item) of every purchase you make, at no cost to you. We use any funds raised via this affiliate scheme to run this website and our communities, so that they are as brilliant as you would rightly expect.
Would you like to review, or recommend products to MOLOS on our website?

Where can I find The Motherload® Recommends…. Amazon Page?
Great question! You can find – and follow – our page here: The Motherload® Recommends…. Amazon Page
Simply, the most recommendations are made via Amazon links on the group so we know it’s probably the most easily accessed page for MOLOs. Amazon have also made it super easy for us to bring all your recommendations into one place, with a clear layout that makes it easy for you to see products at a glance and purchase them quickly. Let’s face it, if we can save time ANYWHERE, that’s a good thing, right?
What does Affiliate mean?
Simply, we have been invited by Amazon (or other affiliate programmes) to recommend items and products to you, and they then pay us for the time it’s taken to collate our choices and their products/ services.
How do I know if a link on The Motherload® is an affiliate link?
We will ALWAYS be transparent about any affiliate activity we undertake. We want to make sure that you are aware of how you support The Motherload®, and are 100% comfortable with any affiliate programme we are a part of. On our website, you will see a marker at the top (like on this article) and a disclaimer at the bottom, an example of which is here.
Why do websites sign up to Affiliate programmes?
Affiliate programmes are an easy way for us to advertise products and generate revenue from our content in order to fund our website. Our website costs cover updates, hosting, web domains, images, time it takes to produce content. We also use the funding to help us run The Motherload® communities. It also means that we can avoid overloading the website with tonnes of adverts – we know how annoying that can be!
Is The Motherload® signed up to other Affiliate schemes?
Yes. We are a part of Awin, Skimlinks and Rakuten currently. You will always be informed in any article or post on The Motherload® platforms if a link you are presented with is affiliate.
What does this cost me?
Absolutely nothing. We are paid by the affiliate company via the Merchant for recommending the products to you.
How do I know they are genuine recommendations?
I want to reassure you that we will always do our best to only bring you recommendations to products and services that you will benefit from. The recommendations you see are products or services that Team, or the MOLOs have personally used and recommended.
Can I recommend a product that’s not currently on your Amazon Page?
Yes, I’d love that! Just send me a quick email: email@example.com.
