At 5am I was up and at ’em

I was praying that my toddler’d go to sleep

And tasted the sweet perfume of 5 cups of coffee

I was haggard then. It was 5am

The lack of sleep has broke me down

Mom friends and I have lost our senses

I’ve not seen a good lie in in so long I feel insane

And I can’t wait for nap time
