MOLO Poem: Some Mothers Do ‘Ave ‘Em

Some Mothers Do ‘Ave ‘Em, A Poem by Louise Rogers

Some Mothers do ‘ave births where it all goes to plan.

Some Mothers do ‘ave a supportive loving man.

Some Mothers don’t.

Some Mothers do instantly bond with their newborn.

Some Mothers cope well with being up before dawn.

Some of us don’t.

Some Mothers do ‘ave babies who easily latch and feed.

Some Mothers do ‘ave a pelvic floor that won’t squirt when squeezed.

Some Mums don’t.

Some Mothers express like milk on tap.

Some Mothers  do ‘ave perfect vaginas with no stitches to their trap.

Some Mothers don’t.

Some Mothers don’t need a gallon of purple nipple cream.

Some Mothers do ‘ave children who nap like a dream.

Some of us don’t.

Some Mothers do ‘ave toddlers who are happy to share.

Some Mothers make it look easy with their freshly washed hair.

Some Mums don’t.

Some Mothers do ‘ave babies who don’t need a dummy.

Some Mothers can leave the house looking all yummy.

Some Mothers don’t.

Some Mothers do ‘ave kids who don’t throw their food.

Some Mothers do ‘ave kids that don’t announce when they’ve poo’d.

Some of us do.

Some Mothers do look at all the other Mothers and wish for something they’ve not.

But all those other Mothers are looking at another and wishing for something you’ve got.
